Hi! I’m Kseniia, a native Russian speaker currently based in the Netherlands.
I grew up speaking Russian and enjoy helping students understand not only the language itself, but also how Russian is actually used in natural conversation. I work with students of different levels, from complete beginners learning their first words to more advanced learners who want to improve fluency, vocabulary and confidence when speaking.
My teaching style is structured but flexible. I like giving clear and detailed explanations of grammar, especially because Russian grammar can seem complicated at first. At the same time, I believe speaking practice is essential, so I encourage students to start using what they learn as early as possible.
I prepare lessons according to each student’s goals and can provide additional vocabulary, grammar exercises and lesson preparation materials when needed.
Whether you are learning Russian for travel, relationships, work, personal interest or simply because you enjoy the language, I would be happy to help you progress step by step.

My Russian lessons are personalized to your level, goals and interests. Whether you are starting from zero, want to improve your grammar, become more confident in conversation, expand your vocabulary, or prepare for study, travel or work, I will adapt the lessons to what you need most.
I focus on making Russian understandable and practical. Grammar is explained clearly and step by step, with plenty of examples and practice, while speaking is incorporated from the very beginning. Depending on your level, lessons can include pronunciation, reading, vocabulary, grammar, listening, conversation and more advanced discussion topics.
For beginners, I can guide you through the alphabet, pronunciation and essential grammar in a logical sequence. For intermediate and advanced students, we can work on natural speaking, more complex grammar, vocabulary development and discussing interesting topics beyond everyday conversation.
I also provide preparation materials before lessons when useful, so you can look through new vocabulary or grammar in advance. After lessons, I can give you feedback on mistakes, useful expressions and areas to practise.
My goal is for lessons to be structured and productive while still feeling relaxed, engaging and adapted to you.
