Over Margherita
I am a native Italian that moved to the Netherlands for a Master degree in Development Studies and decided to stay. I have been living in the Netherlands since 2021 and I really like it here. I have professional aspirations in the sustainability sector, but I really like to teach languages because I believe it brings people together and it gives you tools to discover whole new worlds. I have 7 years of experience teaching English to Italians and 4 years of experience teaching Italians to non-Italians.

The classes aim will be to improve interactions in Italian and build your confidence in the language. The topics of conversation in class can be decided together and they can be based on specific interests you have. If you have any specific needs or things that you want to learn I will cater each lesson to your needs and wishes. In the past I used movies or tv shows to build confidence with the language and to create a conversation topic that was interesting for my students. We will manly speak Italian during our classes, except for some clarifications in English if there is a need for them.
I believe that one of the biggest problems when learning a new language is lack of confidence. For this reason, especially at the start of our classes, I will not correct your grammar or syntax because I want you to feel confident with the language and comfortable with me. After some time of getting used our classes I will start correcting you and help you master your Italian conversational skills.
