Over Elizabeth
Hi! I’m an Australian professional trumpet player and teacher currently studying my Master of Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Performance with First Class Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and have over 5 years of teaching experience in Australia.
Alongside teaching, I have performed professionally with Australian orchestras, giving me a strong understanding of both the technical and musical sides of trumpet playing.
I’m passionate about creating a friendly, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions and developing at their own pace. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced player, I’ll tailor lessons to your individual goals and help you become a more confident and capable musician.

I believe lessons should be engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student. I focus on building strong fundamentals while helping students develop confidence, musicality, and a healthy approach to trumpet playing.
Lessons will cover sound, breathing, a range of technique (articulation, flexibility, range, sight-reading etc.), and fun and challenging repertoire, depending on the student’s goals. We’ll work together to identify areas for improvement and set achievable goals from week to week.
With 5+ years of teaching experience and professional orchestral performance experience, I work with beginners through to advanced players, including students preparing for exams, auditions, performances or simply looking to improve and enjoy playing.
