Hello,
I a french student that studies at Radboud University. I come from Lyon a gave French lessons to kids that got adopted. I made them practice the pronunciations, the French grammar and taught them how to read. I like sharing my culture with other people. I am well aware that French is a very hard language but it can be very beautiful once you get the tricks of the language.

I think to be able to teach French properly you have to make the person interested in what they learn. Learning French isn't all about the language but also the culture. You have to show them tricks to make them feel more comfortable with speaking a writing. Show them that learning a language can be fun but also it is true that it takes work. You can speak with them about topics they like, this way they are interested and more eager to learn. Every person is specific, so you have to adapt to whom you have in front of you.
