Over Hyewon
Hi, I am a 20 years old Korean student who is studying in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I speak Korean as a native speaker born and raised in Seoul but also fluent in English as I have studied in abroad for several years. I have an open and positive personality, and I am looking forward to use all I have to help you learn!:)
I believe my genuine passion to help you with Korean will be able to make your experience of learning the language more fun and easy!
I have taught Korean letters to a friend, and she was able to write everything only in a week. Korean is not difficult to learn when you have genuine interest in it!

The first step of learning Korean is learning how to read and write Korean letters (Hangul). For learning Hangul, I will provide you with the basic letter list and teach you how it works. After practicing writing them for homework, we can do several vocabulary test each class to improve writing and learn new words.
As we continue on classes with higher levels, I will introduce you to grammars in order to formulate sentences, paragraphs, and eventually a short essay or journal.
Our lesson could be also more casually oriented if you would like, in which I can focus more on helping you with daily conversations and context of Korean culture.
Feel free to ask me any questions about my classes!
If you can let me know what you would like to focus on, I will create personalized classes that will best help you in learning Korean.

I have known Hyewon from school for many years; she has been one of the top students. She is considerate and caring, and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a friendly, skilled Korean teacher. She is flexible and is competent with using a variety of teaching materials such as videos, books, and presentations. Her Korean skills are excellent, even for a native. Since her English is also great, she will be able to use both to help the student understand the material as best as possible.
