Over Aswath
I'm Aswath, an engineer living in Arnhem. I moved to the Netherlands to study Sustainable Energy Technology at TU Delft because I wanted to work on something that matters, and I've been in the solar and renewables field ever since, from designing rooftop PV systems to R&D on the materials inside next-generation panels.
Along the way I've done a lot of translating: taking dense, technical work and explaining it clearly to people who don't live in that world. That turns out to be what good tutoring is, and it's the part of every job I've enjoyed most.
I'm patient and easy to talk to, and I never assume you should already know something. Whether you're a student working through your physics or an adult curious about how the energy transition really works, my goal is simple: that you finish each session understanding a bit more, and feeling more confident than when you started.

I'm an engineer with a Master's in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft, and I've spent the last several years in the solar industry, from residential PV system design to thin-film R&D. These lessons are where I pass that on in plain language.
I work with two kinds of learners. If you're an adult moving into the energy sector, or you just want to understand it properly, I can walk you through how solar and other renewables actually work: how a PV system is designed and sized, what each component does, how the grid and storage fit in, and where the field is heading. We shape it around a course you're taking, a job you're targeting, or plain curiosity.
If you're a HAVO or VWO student, I help with the physics behind energy and electricity, and I'm glad to guide a profielwerkstuk or project on solar and sustainability. Having studied and worked in the field, I can also give an honest picture of what a technical or energy degree is really like if you're weighing one up.
My approach is practical and patient: I start from what you already know, lean on real examples over abstract theory, and make sure every session leaves you with something concrete. Lessons in English, or Dutch at a basic level, online or in person around Arnhem.
