Over Madel
I am a 25 year old PhD student in Virology at the UMCG. I recently completed my Masters in Molecular Biology. I love to teach and I used to tutor in math and piano. I now want to share my knowledge of biology. I have always been passionate about science communication and believe in the importance of being able to explain abstract and complex scientific concepts in simple terms for everybody to understand.

I ask the student whether there is a particular subject they have in mind or a textbook they are following, and make a lesson plan from that. I also believe in active learning and encourage doing practice tests. I also adapt based on the style of learning that the student prefers, such as visual aids or needing something practical and hands on.
