Hi, I am excited to meet you! My name is Anna and I am from Slovakia/Georgia. Music has always been my safe place growing up. I have been singing since I was a toddler and playing the piano from age 6. But I find the most joy in theoretical subjects. I enjoy analyzing scores, discovering harmonies and writing dictates. Loving what you learn also makes it easy to teach it which I have been doing for four years now alongside my studies.
While studying music theory and musicology in a Conservatoire I chose to also dive into pedagogical and neuro-psychological aspects of music. I have learnt and experienced many different methods when it comes to teaching music on different levels which is why I am a strong believer that every single person needs an individual approach.
I conduct lessons with various time duration depending on the students level and age. I like to sing songs and use graphic tools with preschool aged children for 30 minutes, as well as kids learning to play the piano. The schedule of music theory and piano lessons with grown ups approaching music as a hobby or in preparation for
various exams (ABRSM, AMEB, RCM, etc.) vary depending on your personal situation.
