Over Doriana
As an individual, I have been passionately playing the oboe for 15 years. My dedication to this beautiful instrument led me to pursue a formal education at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague guided by Karel Schoofs, soloist of Rotterdam Philharmonic and Alexei Ogrintchouk , soloist of Concertgebow Orkest,where I successfully graduated with a master's degree in Oboe Performance. This program equipped me with advanced technical skills, deep musical understanding.
Throughout my musical journey, I have had the privilege of participating in numerous orchestra and chamber music projects, showcasing my talent and love for the oboe. me to create captivating and memorable performances, opportunities to perform in prestigious venues such as Amare. I have been fortunate to share my music with enthusiastic audiences, both as a soloist and as a member of various orchestra projects. .
With my extensive experience, advanced education, and a deep passion for the oboe, I strive to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment for my students, nurturing their talents and helping them reach their full potential.

Regarding my teaching methods for the oboe, I approach them with a structured methodology. I focus on teaching proper breathing techniques, embouchure (mouth position), fingerings, tone production, and expression. I believe in incorporating sight-reading, and musical interpretation to build a solid foundation for my students.
When it comes to the duration of my lessons, I take into consideration the needs and age of my students, as well as the available time. Typically, my individual lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. For younger students, I find that shorter lessons work as well, as their attention span tends to be shorter.
As a teacher, I bring a strong knowledge and skill set to the table. I have pursued education in music and pedagogy, which has equipped me with effective teaching methods. My experience as a performing oboist further adds to my credibility as a teacher.
My lessons are designed to cater to students of different levels, ages, and backgrounds. Whether they are beginners, intermediate players seeking improvement, or adults starting their oboe journey later in life, I adapt my lessons to meet their specific needs and goals.
