Over Ria
My name is Ria and I am originally from India but I was born and raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Psychology and mental health have been my passion since the age of 15 when I selected psychology in high school as one of my courses. I currently work as a therapist but at the same time, also offer lessons to psychology students that may need help in understanding important concepts in psychology. With over 10 years of educational experience, my teaching method is interactive and includes a mix of theory and practical knowledge.

My lessons are aimed at university level students who would like to be explained key concepts in psychology, need advice/guidance. I did my bachelors in Psychology at Heriot Watt university, Dubai. Both my masters degrees are from Netherlands. Msc in Clinical Psychology, Erasmus university, Rotterdam and MA in psychology with Emphasis in Counseling, Webster university, Leiden. My lessons would be 1 hour long and I approach my lessons in a practical and applied manner, using theory in practice, clinical applications
