Over Hashemii
My name is Khadijeh, and I am a professional painter with 23 years of experience in the field of visual arts. Although I studied Biotechnology, I have always followed my passion for art and continued developing my artistic skills alongside my academic career.
Over the years, I have built strong professional experience in a wide range of painting techniques, including watercolor, oil, acrylic, collage, mixed media, and gold leaf. My primary artistic focus has always been portrait painting, where I enjoy capturing emotion and personality through color and expression. In addition to portrait work, I also have experience creating murals.
In September 2022, I held a painting exhibition in Iran, my home country, where I presented a collection of my artworks.
For me, painting is more than a technical skill—it is a way to look inward, slow down, and spend time in a peaceful and creative space. Through my teaching, I hope to share not only artistic techniques but also the joy, calm, and inspiration that painting can bring into everyday life.

My teaching philosophy is based on helping students discover their creativity while building strong artistic fundamentals. I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can explore different artistic methods, develop technical skills, and gain confidence in their work.
In my lessons, I combine demonstration, guided practice, and individual feedback. I explain techniques step by step, show practical examples, and support students while they practice. Each student receives personal guidance so they can progress at their own pace and develop their own artistic style.
Two Types of Classes
1. Exploratory Painting Course (Technique Discovery)
This course is designed for students who want to explore different artistic techniques before choosing their preferred style.
The course begins with drawing fundamentals, helping students strengthen their observation skills, proportions, shading, and composition. Drawing provides the foundation for painting and helps students understand form, light, and perspective.
After building these basics, students will experiment with different painting techniques in separate sessions, such as:
-Watercolor
-Acrylic painting
-Oil painting
-Mixed media
-Texture and experimental techniques
Through these sessions, students can experience various artistic approaches and materials. By the end of the course, they will have a clearer understanding of which technique best matches their interests and artistic style.
2. Specialized Technique Course (Skill Development)
In this type of class, students choose one specific painting technique from the beginning and focus on mastering it.
The course is designed for students who already know which style they want to pursue or who want to deepen their expertise in a particular medium. Lessons focus on:
-Advanced technical skills
-Detailed study of materials and tools
-Composition and artistic expression
-Personal project development
This approach allows students to develop deeper technical knowledge and confidence, gradually becoming highly skilled in their chosen painting technique.

-Color theory and color mixing
-Brush techniques and texture creation
-Composition and visual balance
-Creative thinking and artistic expression
-Development of a personal artistic style
