Over Ishita
I am currently a second-year Artificial Intelligence student at VU Amsterdam and have completed both GCSEs and the IB Diploma. Having studied in an international, English-speaking environment, I am familiar with different learning styles and the demands of both GCSE and IB programmes.
I aim to make lessons clear, supportive and easy to follow. I am patient, organised and happy to explain topics in different ways until they make sense. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, build confidence and become more independent learners.

* I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace, confidence level and learning needs.
* I focus on breaking difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and explaining the reasoning behind answers rather than encouraging memorisation.
* A typical lesson includes a short recap, explanation of the topic, worked examples, guided practice and independent questions with feedback.
* I can also help with homework, revision, past-paper questions, exam preparation and catching up on missed or difficult topics.
* My strongest areas include Mathematics, Geography, English, Physics and Chemistry as well as general secondary-school academic support.
* Having completed both GCSEs and the IB Diploma, I am familiar with the structure and expectations of both programmes.
* Lessons are suitable for secondary-school students, GCSE students and students looking for support with selected IB subjects.
* My aim is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace.

I know Ishita from working alongside her as a group tutor in the past. She is a patient and excellent educator and can simply break down problems so that everyone can understand. I have watched her expertly tutor GCSE students who had made amazing progress with their grades during the period they were under her wing.
