Over Maria
I am a 22 year old bachelor student at Maastricht University where I study in the field of natural sciences. I was always interested in science, but I was not always good at it. That was until I found a teacher, who showed me that Chemistry does not have to be scary and intimidating - you just have to find the right tools and the right person who can help you - I hope I can be that person for you.

As a university student, I know very well what topics cause problems and confusion among students. Complicated concepts, difficult terms and big words - I believe the key to succeeding in natural sciences and actually understanding the topic comes down to simplifications. I teach the way my mom used to teach me when I was younger - using simple analogies and real-life examples - all to make the topic more approachable and less intimidating. They say that you know that you have understood a topic once you are able to explain it to someone who knows nothing about it. This is exactly my goal. At the end of our sessions, I want my students to have a deep understanding of the topic discussed, so that they are ready to discuss a topic with their peers and ace those exams.
I offer 1-hour long lessons, both during the week and the weekends, My targeted group is teens aged 12-18 - middle school to high school. I offer preparations for exams, help with taking notes and provide useful resources for further study if requested.

Maria has been for the last year an amazing teacher for our son Noah in Mathematics and Chemistry.
She has achieved to make him upgrade his marks at the International School in year 11 as soon as he started to better understand the topics.
Maria is really a trusted teacher who is able to adapt herself to the needs of your child and will proactively always update you (as a parent) on the outcome of each tutoring session and share what she is proposing as a next step/for next tutoring lesson.
On top, virtual tutoring is making it easier to organise. I really do recommend !I've been having Chemistry lessons with Maria for two months now, and I am very pleased. She is always very well-prepared for the lessons and always succeeds to explain every topic. She is also very patient, enthusiastic and puts a lot of effort into all the explanations. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor!
