Over Sara
Good day! My name is Sara and I'm a former volunteer tutor at British Council, UK. My C2 level proficiency in English allows me to explain complex linguistic concepts clearly and accurately.
With 5+ years of teaching experience, I have developed a robust methodology that caters to the unique needs of each student. I have a proven track record of teaching people of various ages and proficiencies, with 80% of my students achieving a score of 7.5 and above on the IELTS Academic.
I teach exam strategies and techniques that are crucial for success, such as time management, critical reading, and effective essay writing. Regular practice tests are an integral part of my teaching methodology, providing students with the opportunity to practice under exam conditions and track their progress.

Firstly, I lead an assessment to understand your current level and unique learning style. Based on the assessment, I tailor lessons to meet your individual needs and goals, focusing on areas that need improvement. I design a working plan & timeline for objective goals according to metrics of the CEFR framework.
Every lesson is different, depending on your current level and your goals.
In general, I aim to to equip you with specific strategies and tips for tackling different sections of the exam. Regular practice tests are used to simulate exam conditions and track progress. I offer regular feedback and progress reports to help you recognize your strengths and areas for improvement.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes. I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the student, with options for longer or shorter sessions as needed. I also work on intensive time crunches for tight deadlines or as final revisions before your exam.
Although I have direct experience with IELTS and the inner workings specific to this type of test, I am also able to assist with TOEFL and Cambridge exams.
