Over Marinda
I'm Marinda, nice to meet you! I studied English Linguistics & Literature at the University of Amsterdam. During my studies I lived in Scotland for a year, and after graduating I moved to Barcelona. I have a lot of experience speaking and learning other languages, and meeting people from all over the world. I have a passion for language and culture, and now that I'm back in the Netherlands after a few years, I'm looking forward to teaching you :)

I base my classes on humor and any topics of your interest. We could include movies, books, social media, or whatever you'd like in our lessons. The aim is to talk as much as possible, which will make it easier for you to speak without fear. I am very patient and calm, and the most important thing is that we don't take ourselves too seriously, so that learning can take place in a comfortable environment. I will set up a special lesson plan for you, in which we can cover everything that is important to you, whether it is writing, speaking, listening, passing exams, giving presentations, and anything else. My classes are suitable for all ages and levels, as I will adapt them to your needs. My partner is from Latin America and currently learning Dutch himself, so rest assured I have a lot of experience with other languages and the journey to becoming proficient in Dutch as an adult :)
