Over Julian
Music is a complicated topic - which is why it's imperative to learn from someone equally experienced in performing and teaching. Often as performing musicians we find ourselves learning through the process of teaching! For me, the transformation in my own playing and my student's progress is the ethereal joy in teaching. In a musician's career, little is more satisfying than watching your student get to know music better, bit by bit.

Teaching tailored to the individual - that's why one-on-one lessons are important in music.
Preferred lesson durations are an hour per person at a time. Group classes are possible for parties of up to 4.
I have experience handling both group classes and individual lessons from teaching in high schools and music foundations, but to my observation individual class usually works better for beginners.
Anyone of ages 7 and up can start learning! My youngest student started at 8, and I myself started playing the oboe at 7.
