Profile:
There is no greater reward than to see children develop their critical thinking and problem resolving skills. This is my main motivation to be a teacher. Since I was a student in gymnasium, I enjoyed studying physics. I see the understanding of physical laws and processes as the cornerstone for understanding other sciences and for understanding the world in which we live. In my professional career as a teacher and a scientist, I learned how to make strategic decisions, to lead projects and to present my work to various audiences. Furthermore, while working as a high school teacher and while guiding students through their thesis projects, I obtained a useful experience in interacting with people under challenging conditions, not only in person, but also through online communication. My colleagues would describe me as a highly motivated person, with good organisation and planning skills.
