Over Renske
The pre-master Educational Sciences at Utrecht University helped me understand how people learn and how to design effective lessons. I have worked at several universities and MBO schools, and I also spent time working at the Dutch Immigration Service, where I learned a lot about the challenges newcomers face in the Netherlands.
Over the past ten years, I have taught students from many countries, including India, the United States, Australia, Turkey, Switzerland, and the UK, as well as many newcomers. I enjoy working with different cultures and always teach in a supportive and culturally sensitive way.
Because I have lived and worked internationally I understand what it’s like to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture. I believe strongly in lifelong learning and that everyone is capable of learning with the right guidance. My goal is to help students feel confident, grow at their own pace, and reach their goals.
